Terms.
Standard terms for the website and for engaging our services. The full project contract is delivered separately on signature.
Use Of This Website
You may use this website for personal and business research. Don't scrape, mirror, or republish content without written permission. Don't attempt to access non-public portions of the site. Don't submit false information through the contact form.
Estimates And Quotes
Estimates given over the phone are non-binding ballpark figures based on the information you provided. Written quotes following a site visit are binding for 30 days from issuance. Material price escalations beyond 5% on items not yet purchased may adjust the quote, with notice to you in writing.
Scheduling And Cancellations
Scheduled work cancelled with less than 48 hours notice may incur a $145 fee. We will reschedule once at no charge if you call within 48 hours.
Access And Site Conditions
You agree to provide reasonable access to the work area, pets safely contained, and a working power source for tools (we bring extension cords; we don't bring water). If site conditions discovered on arrival materially differ from those described (locked panels, undisclosed asbestos, blocked access), we may need to reschedule.
Payment
For service calls, payment is due on completion via card, check, or ACH. For projects over $1,500, we typically structure a deposit (15–25%), one or two progress draws, and a final draw on completion. Past-due invoices accrue 1.5% monthly interest after 30 days.
Warranty
See the warranty page for full terms. Warranty is governed by Texas law.
Insurance & Licensing
Sterling Electric Holdings, LLC dba VoltSync Electrical operates under Texas Electrical Contractor License #EC-984420. Master Electrician of record: Marcus Sterling, license #M-29440. General liability coverage: $2,000,000 per occurrence (The Hartford). Workers' compensation in force with Texas Mutual.
Disputes
We try to resolve disputes directly. If we can't, claims arising from work performed are venued in Travis County, Texas, and governed by Texas law. Either party may elect non-binding mediation before suit; both parties bear their own costs in mediation.
Limitations
Our maximum aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid for the work in question. We are not liable for consequential damages — spoiled food, business interruption, hotel expense — except where covered by our liability insurance and within the policy's terms.
Changes
We may update these terms occasionally. The most recent version applies. Last updated: January 14, 2026.
