What we collect
When you submit the contact form: name, phone, email, project address (if provided), project type, role, budget range, timing, and any notes. When you call dispatch, we may take notes in our scheduling system. We do not run third-party analytics on this site. We do not set advertising cookies.
How we use it
Solely to respond to your inquiry, schedule and perform work, send invoices, file warranty records, and remain reachable for future service. We do not share your information with marketers, lead-generation services, or any third party other than payment processors and inspectors as required to complete the work.
Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps standard web-server logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp, user agent) for up to 14 days for operational reasons. After 14 days the logs are deleted.
If you subscribe to the monthly journal, we use Buttondown to deliver it. Your email lives in our Buttondown list and nowhere else. You can unsubscribe with one click from any issue.
Retention
Active client records are retained for the warranty period plus two years for tax. Inactive inquiries that don't become projects are deleted after 18 months.
Your rights
NC residents may request a copy of the information we hold about them, request corrections, or request deletion. Email service@vanguardplumbing.com with "Privacy request" in the subject. We respond within 30 days.
Children
This site is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
