Plain-language coverage for program services and remediation. Specific terms vary by service; the framework is the same.
Program services (Sentinel, Heritage, Continuous)
While your program is active and current, Aegis warrants the IPM service: documented monitoring, intervention at thresholds, and recall visits between scheduled services if pressure exceeds the expected baseline. Recall visits within the program period carry no additional charge.
Termite remediation (Sentricon & liquid)
Sentricon HD networks installed by Aegis carry a one-year contract renewable annually. While the contract is current, any active subterranean termite colony detected in the structure is re-treated at no additional charge using Recruit HD bait and, where active, targeted liquid termiticide.
Active pest remediation
Remediation work for specific identified pests (carpenter ants, German cockroach, wildlife exclusion) carries a 90-day recurrence warranty. If the targeted species returns at the treated location within 90 days, we re-treat at no additional charge.
Mechanical / exclusion work
Hardware-installed exclusion (rodent sealing, wildlife exclusion) is warranted against re-entry at sealed access points for one year. New entry points that develop after our work are addressed under standard pricing.
Heritage program reports
The annual heritage condition report is warranted for accuracy at time of issuance, based on monitoring data and visual inspection of accessible areas. We don't warrant against conditions in inaccessible voids unless explicitly inspected.
Exclusions
- Wildlife / pest pressure caused by new structural conditions (e.g., roof damage exposing attic access after our exclusion work)
- Pest pressure introduced by external factors during heritage / hospitality engagements (a contaminated incoming shipment, an introduced infested mattress)
- Conditions explicitly excluded in the engagement scope
- Damage caused by client modification of monitoring equipment or stations
How to make a claim
Call the office or email us with the property address and a description. We respond same-day for active clients on the program, within one business day otherwise.
Limitation
Maximum aggregate liability under the warranty is limited to the value of services performed under the active contract. Aegis carries $2M general liability and $1M pesticide liability insurance for claims beyond contract scope.
